Shizen Orchestra

A manga, anime convention and a celebration of East Asian music, organized by the Touhou no Yuujin organization of Ateneo de Manila. The event will take place at the SMX Convention Hall, Mall of Asia, on April 25, 2009 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Tickets will be at 100 pesos per person.

Hi, guys! The mechanics for most of the booths and events are up! Right now, they're being housed on the forums (specifically here), but they'll also be up on the site soon.

For now, please edit your pimpage posts with a link to these mechanics, particularly for the Fan Art Drawing Contest, as submission of entries for it is now open.

The General Assembly has already approved the proposed three accessories, and the members are free to purchase at least one to wear for the fair.

However, the Fair Committee proposes the idea of wearing a shirt printed with the AME 8th Avenue Logo. How you accessorize everything else is up to you - pants, skirts, chains, bracelets, etc., so long as the shirt is clearly visible.

The concept behind this is that the fair is for the attendees - let the visitors dress up Harajuku-style all they want. The important thing is for people to easily identify us among the crowd, and for us to easily differentiate AME people from non-AME people.

■ The full title of the event is now "Harajuku on my Mind: A Cosplay/Harajuku Fashion Competition".

■ Registration on the day itself will be at FC 2110, Faculty Center, and will end at 2 PM. People may proceed to Aldaba Hall at 2:30 PM. Pre-registration is highly encouraged - details may be found on the poster itself.

■ Criteria is updated:
Craftsmanship (Creativity, Resourcefulness, Innovativeness) --- 50%
Characterization (Stage Presence, Projection, Delivery) --- 40%
Audience Impact --- 10%

■ Please remind everyone to be prepared for whatever weather may come (i.e. bring umbrellas).
